Last Day of School

I never thought the last day of school would come, but on Friday May 29th it did. WAHOO!!!

While some moms cry on the first day of school, I usually find myself crying like a baby on the last day of school. The relationships the kids make with their teacher's and classmates are so strong by the end of the year that it is always sad when they end. It's also a little scary when your kids have had such great teachers to think that they might not be that lucky the next year. Luckily Cedar Ridge is a phenomenal school with incredible teachers that it's not usually a problem.

Thank you Mrs. Hawkins for taking on such a large class for your first year of teaching and giving it your all. Emma LOVED you and will MISS you!

Ms. Lowry, I still start to cry when I think of all that you did this year for Zach and the rest of his class. While you were tough on him and pushed him hard you were still so loving and understanding. I couldn't have asked for a better year for Zach. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I will pray every day that Emma gets the priviledge of having you as a teacher as well.

It's hard to believe that my babies are going into 1st and 3rd grade next year. It makes me excited and nervous to think about. But for now I'll just enjoy the summer and getting my kids all to myself for 2 1/2 months! Well I guess I'll share them with Brandon.
