Family Vacations... Nothin' Better!

OK. So I know we have already been to Disneyland twice since October. But our little family totally needed to get away for a little R&R and we bought annual passes to Disneyland when we went in October since we knew we were going back in February. So it really was the cheapest vacation we could think of doing since we already had our park tickets. We used some points Brandon had for our hotel stay and we brought our own snacks and meals to eat. So on May 30th we hopped in our car and were off to our favorite place...DISNEYLAND!

Since it was our 3rd time in 6 months we decided to really take our time and do things like stand in line forever to see some of the characters...Donald was the kids favorite. Lynnie still tells people he was cranky. He didn't like Zach and Emma wearing Mickey ears.

We could also take our time and pick our nose. GROSS ZACH!

Zach, Emma and Ashlynn had a little run-in with a talking, moving garbabe can. He was so funny. He asked Zach and Emma if they were on their Honeymoon. The kids couldn't stop laughing. Neither could we.

We got in line 30 minutes before the Princess Fantasy Fair started so that the girls could be one of the first to meet some Princesses. They saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Princess Minnie. Cinderella was by far the cutest with them. She loved the girls extra because they were both wearing blue.

Small World is always a big hit except for when I go to bed later that night and STILL have the song stuck in my head.

These kids are so stinkin' cute!

One of Lynnie's favorites is Jungle Cruise, unless it's night. The ride made her a little uneasy in the dark.

Emma is so funny on all of the Rollercoasters. Even though she loves them, she screams the entire time on every single one. It cracks me and Brandon up.

Here's Brandon and Zach on space mountain. Zach is so proud of himself when he keeps his hands up during the rides.

The highlight of Zach's trip was the Jedi Training Camp that we saw twice in hopes that he'd get picked to take part in the show. Although it was heartbreaking when he wasn't picked either time, he still LOVED the show and was quick to find all 3 of his lightsabres when we got home from our trip.

On our way home from Disneyland we stopped in St. George for a day and a half to just lay by the pool and relax after walking for 3 days straight in Disneyland. It was the perfect way to finish out our week.

While it's always nice to get home, I was so sad when our family vacation was over. I loved being with just my family and getting away from everything else. I'm so greatful to have been able to start our summer off this way.
