Father's Day

So yesterday was Father's Day and it was a really good day. It all started on Saturday night when my sisters, brother and our spouses took my dad to dinner for Father's day. That was really nice especially since it was with NO KIDS, wahoo! It also left Sunday more open for Brandon and his family.

So Sunday morning we went to Brandon's parents house for breakfast. Laurie made breakfast burritos which were so YUMMY. Brandon's grandparents were having a dinner later in the afternoon so we ended up just spending the day at Steve and Laurie's so we didn't have to drive to and from Salt Lake over and over. It was totally fun. The kids loved playing in the play room and spending most of the day in the beautiful yard. Grandma and Grandpa even got to watch a few of the kids shows that they love. They got a potpurri of "Jonas", "Icarli" and "Phineas and Ferb". Thanks for hosting us all day Steve and Laurie!

The only bummer of the day was that I didn't get to spend the day spoiling Brandon as much as I would have if we were at home. I didn't get to cook for him or anything. I just feel like he kind of got brushed over yesterday. So I wanted to post a few reasons why Brandon is such an incredible dad and husband.

*Brandon is the most patient person you will ever meet!

*What you see is what you get with Brandon. He is just a simple mellow guy accept when he is playing a game of Mafia.

*Brandon works 2 jobs to support his family and would work more if he had to.

*When Brandon is not home he truly misses his family. The other day he came home and just started to tickle Lynnie. When she started to laugh he smiled and said that he was thinking at work how much he loved hearing his kids laugh and he couldn't wait to get home and hear the laughter.

*Brandon would do anything to keep his wife happy. And we all know that a happy wife makes a happy home.

*Brandon is the best example in every way for the kids. He is exactly what Zach should work to become and he is exactly what the girls should look for in a husband.

These are just a few reasons why me and the kids are so lucky to have Brandon. We love you babe!
